ALBANY, April 25, 2018 — Aurora Heller has joined Buckley, Mendleson, Criscione and Quinn, P.C., in Albany as an associate attorney focusing on workers’ compensation law.
Previously, Heller was a professor of rhetoric at the University of Iowa. She was admitted to the bar in New York State in 2017 and the New Hampshire bar in 2016. She has prior legal experience with Bingham McCuthen LLP and the New York State Office of the Attorney General.
Heller earned her J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a bachelor of arts degree in French and political science from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., where she graduated summa cum laude. Her undergraduate work included a semester at the Sorbonne University in Paris.
Most recently, she earned a master of science degree in information science from the University at Albany. She also has accrued credits at the University of Iowa toward a doctorate in communication studies. She is a member of the New York State, Albany County, Injured Workers’, and American Bar Associations.
